Classes

Ballet Class – Level 1

This class is initially an introductory ballet class learning the basics and advancing forward with ballet technique. 

Ballet – Level 3

This class is more advanced. Delving deeper into more advanced steps, refinement of the classical technique and continuing to develop further skills and artistry.

Ballet Class ages – Level 2

This is an initially a more general ballet class, learning the basics or refining the basics and advancing forward with ballet technique. 

Adult Ballet

This class is for all adults whether you have danced before or not. A traditional ballet class that is challenging – yet achievable, tailored for all of us grown ups who may have the odd creaky joint or two! Learning the correct technique while focusing on improving muscle tone and fitness – but most of all enjoying the love of dance and living out your inner ballet dancer dreams. (No previous dance experience needed)

Street/Commercial

This is an energetic class focusing on dynamic movement from varied street and commercial styles of dance. Including drills for precision, repetition and refinement with stretching and fitness elements – while also learning choreographed routines. Lots of fun dancing to popular tracks to improve step pick up and build on style and confidence.

Yoga

A fluid yoga class aimed at all – with modifications for beginners or more advanced postures if needed for more experienced yogis. With an Ashtanga base, developed with elements of deep release from Yin yoga and flowing Vinyasa the Class is physical – but yet relaxing.

Musical Theatre/Jazz intro ages 4 -7

This class is an introduction to musical theatre. Learning the basics of Modern Jazz and Theatre Jazz technique. While also learning routines and songs developing an understanding and appreciation of style and all things theatre!

Modern Jazz Technique 8-14

A technique based class learning different styles of jazz. Deepening an understanding of style, dynamics, body conditioning and stretching while working on kicks, leaps and turns.

Contemporary Class 8-14

A class exploring movement, using a combination of styes from the basis of Graham, Cunningham and Release Techniques. Learning choreography and gaining an understanding of free movement and motion, exploring floor work, traveling, leaps and dynamics.

Tap Class 8-12

Continued learning and refining of the basic Tap technique progressing through to slightly more advanced Tap.

Adult Tap

Learning Tap Technique from the basics and putting it into practice with fun combinations. Great for fitness and stamina with lots of repetition to drill in the technique and retention of steps, while enjoying the razzle dazzle of the Tap style.
